Feature Improvements
- Reworked the behavior of the Start and Resume buttons for local simulations. If the scheduler is idle, or the simulation is already in the queue, it now starts immediately and moves ahead of anything queued; a simulation that is already running stops at the end of its current iteration and re-queues directly below. If the scheduler is busy and the simulation is not queued, it joins the bottom of the queue without interrupting the running simulation. Paused simulations continue to resume in place.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue where rarely an inlet caused the momentum residuals to oscillate between two values and prevent the simulation from converging.
- Fixed issue where an HVAC defined by picking geometry could have whole triangles of its inlet meshed as internal walls instead of as the inlet.
- Fixed issue where risk analysis data saved after the mesh had been resized left stale data behind in the project file, causing the risk results to fail to load the next time the simulation was woken, without reporting an error.
- Fixed crash when refreshing a linked data file that was saved in a previous version.
- Fixed error when downloading a completed cloud simulation from a solver file, which incorrectly reported that the simulation was in the cancelled state on the cloud.
- Fixed error when running a gas detector optimization on the cloud, where the detector locations, open path detectors, and monitor groups could not be read by the cloud solver.
- Fixed issue where a cloud submission could remain at “Processing cloud submission…” until the next status refresh instead of updating as soon as the machines began starting up.
- Fixed issue where a network solver service running a matching version of ifx:Solve could be reported as an incompatible version.
- Fixed issue where the same solver service could appear twice in the network run list, once as discovered automatically and once as manually added, and where a manually added service disappeared from the list instead of showing as offline when it became unreachable.
- Fixed issue where the converged indicator for a transport equation was evaluated against the previous iteration’s under-relaxation and could disagree with the residual shown next to it.
- Fixed crash that could occur when closing the application while a simulation was still solving.
